About this tutorial
Oleg Melnikov wires n8n to a Notion workout database, then talks to it from Telegram.
The demo: a voice note, "I just finished my 60-minute bodyweight workout, 30 minutes on a treadmill, 10 sets of 20 push-ups." n8n parses it and creates the database row with the right fields.
Setup is in the browser, not the desktop app. Log into Notion, create an integration, then in n8n use the Notion node. Two patterns he shows:
Append a block to a page. Resource: block. Operation: append after. He could not find a way to prepend, and says so.
Create a database page. Resource: database page. Operation: create. Pick the database, map name and deadline.
