Why did I create this template?

I created this template to help people manage their credit utilization. This is one of the major factors of someone's credit score so keeping track of this value while still taking advantage of all the perks of being a credit card holder can be overwhelming. This template was made to cure that issue.

What's inside the template?

Inside this template are two databases. A cards database and a transactions database. The cards database is where all of your credit cards and their related information such as rates, limits, and activity will live. The transactions database is where you input your spending and payments.

How to use the template?

To start, hit the "Add Card" button and add as many cards as you like! Then go through adding the credit limit and the targeted utilization for each card. This will automatically calculate your targeted budget within each card. From now on that value is your new credit limit. After you have added all your cards hit the "Cards" view in the cards database and you are all set! Now you can begin adding transactions such as spending and payments.

What are the benefits of the template?

The main benefit of this template is how your credit limit is treated. This template basically ignores your real limit because using that amount of credit should not be allowed within your budget anyway. Instead, the template will give you indicators (green 🟢, yellow 🟡, red 🔴) based on if you are within your desired utilization. This not only makes it basically impossible to ever even come close to your real limits, but it also is super simple to use as well. This way you can feel financially confident and reduce stress!

Green = No Balance!

Yellow = Within! 

Red = Needs payment immediately!
