Why did I create this template?

This template was created to help you to keep track of all your assets and purchases. If you need to look back and see how much an item cost or when you bought it, all the details are just a click away.

I wanted a simple database to organize all the main items I have purchased for my house, so I decided to build this template. 

What's inside the template?

This template contains an easy-to-follow database view, with clickable tabs that can show your purchases in many different categories.  You can sort your purchase by date, expense area, bank account and related area of the asset.

How to use the template?

The data is easy to add. Just click on the blue "New" button on the right-hand side of the screen and complete the details. You will have the option to add an image of the item, together with a scanned receipt of the image. To change the views and sort the contents, just click on the various tabs at the top of the page. The drop-down option boxes allow you to specify what area the asset belongs to, and you can also specify if it is a business or personal expense.

What are the benefits of the template?

This template allows you to add as many new items as you like and will become an invaluable database of information related to your assets and purchases. The running totals allow you to see how much money you have spent on purchases to date.
