Why did I create this template?

Keeping tabs on subscriptions has always been a challenge, mostly with the annual ones. I needed a way to get ahead of the game and make decisions about my spend proactively rather than reactively. I made this for myself and then decided to make it a template for others to use.

What's inside the template?

- Quick capture: quickly create new subscriptions to track using buttons.

- Active subscriptions: look at all your subscriptions at a glance so you can make changes and decide what to do with them proactively.

- Piggy Bank: know how much money you should set aside for yearly subscriptions. Also know how much you should have saved as of today, so you can plan to catch up.

- Monthly Spend: keep an eye on how much you spend on monthly subscriptions.

- Renewing Soon & Cancelation Reminders: decide what to do with your subscriptions before they renew, and be reminded to cancel if you have decided to do so.

How to use the template?

Follow the guidance within the template to capture your subscriptions. Set renewal dates, plan period (monthly/yearly/lifetime) and decide what's your next action (renew, cancel, pause). Subscriptions Watcher will take care of the rest to tell you how much to set aside for yearly subs, be reminded to cancel, and more.

What are the benefits of the template?

After I decided to build Subscriptions Watcher for myself, I became a lot more aware of my spend in these services. I gave thought to each of them to decide if I really want it and ended up cancelled a bunch of them. My bank account stopped draining and I could spend that money on other stuff I like.
