What it is

Student OS is a Notion student planner by Matthew, who built it while studying himself. It puts everything a university term produces in one workspace: semesters, classes, teachers, attendance, a calendar, tasks, projects and exams, class notes, grades, study sessions and resources.

What's inside

• A home dashboard with quick actions (new event, task, exam, class note, study session, grade, resource) and your current classes as cards
• Semester and class databases, with a class page template that links its teacher, tasks and exams
• A projects and exams template with deadlines and linked study sessions
• Tasks with a calendar view, plus a schedule for lectures and tutorials
• A personal details page for your student card, institution and documents
• A written guide to each module, and a bonus guide to saving web pages with the Notion Web Clipper

Who it's for

Undergraduates who want one place for every class, and PhD candidates who need resources and references they can find again. If you just need a to-do list for homework, it is more than you need.

What it doesn't do

It will not sync with your university portal or LMS; you enter classes and deadlines yourself. The screenshots show a dark theme with a purple header. It is editable, but that is the look you start with.

Price

$38 is at the top of the market. Student templates in our Gumroad pool mostly cost $5–10 (median $9). You are paying for depth: 10+ connected modules rather than a single page. The listing has 18 ratings, all five stars.

Our take
