Why did I create this template?

Since September 2022, I embarked on an interesting and eye-opening journey of UX consulting. After interacting with many UX professionals, teams, and freelancers, I started developing tools to help UXers improve productivity and efficiency.

What's inside the template?

A form shared with stakeholders or anyone requesting UX services before considering a UX task/project.

🏢+1 UX Request Database

A storage that displays all UX requests made using the UX request intake form. Entries can also be made directly from the database. Equipped with 8 views:

✨+1 UX Request Template

A template with information from the initial request and two other sections (rapid review & scope review)

➡Rapid Review Sections: The UX request quick review sections provide team members with a brief synthesis of a UX request due to time constraints and urgency. It emphasizes screening a request to merit its impact on users, business value, and its feasibility.

➡Scope Review Sections: A scope review meeting can be set up to further discuss UX request(s) and determine their credibility, value, and impact as UX projects.

How to use the template?

The UX request intake form is shared with stakeholders or anyone requesting user research. Send the form’s link to stakeholders as soon as they request user research. Ask them to fill out the entire document (or as much as possible). Once the UX request database is updated, each team member conducts a rapid review (including any comments or questions they have) and then set up a scope review meeting to discuss the UX request further.
