Basic Invoice Generator

Basic Invoice Generator is a free Notion template for freelancers and small businesses who bill a handful of clients a month and do not need accounting software to do it. It lays out a complete invoice you fill in, duplicate per job, and share or export as a PDF.

What the invoice covers

• Invoice details — invoice number, issue date and due date
• Company details — your address, phone, email and website, as the sender
• Billing information — the "Bill To" block with the client’s name, phone, email and address
• Billed services — a table of what you are charging for, and the total

Sender and client, side by side

Company details and Bill To sit in two columns at the top, so the invoice identifies both parties before it gets to money. The invoice number and dates sit above them, which is the order a client reads and the order an accountant files.

Line items and payment

The billed services table takes one row per item, with quantity, price and a gross column, and totals at the bottom. Beneath it, checkboxes let the client pick how they are paying — cash, card or PayPal — alongside the payment terms.
