Template Description

Why did I create this template?

I created QuickLog to track my baby daughter's activities - sleep time, feeds, poops, etc.

I wanted a way to track these things in Notion quickly, without having to go into Notion every time. With the QuickLog shortcut, you can start and end an activity with a couple of taps.

You can use it to track any activities (personal habits, work projects, medication, etc)

What's inside the template?

The template contains a link to the iOS/mac shortcut, and a QuickLog database with multiple views.

The views include useful formulas showing things like "time since ended" and "duration".

You can view activities for today, or a specific date.

There are views grouped by activity so you can see total duration for an activity over a certain period.

There are week views where you can see how often you do certain activities.

There are timeline views too.

It's easy to add your own views to the template. The hard work of creating formulas is already done for you.

How to use the template?

Simply duplicate it to your own Workspace.

Full setup instructions are included. You can set up a new QuickLog database and Shortcut in about 3 minutes

What are the benefits of the template?

- Quickly log events and activities in a couple of taps

- Log from your Apple Watch

- No need to open Notion to log events

- Track anything you want
